Is it possible to get bigger inner calves with Botox to treat false curvature?

Botox will actually do the opposite it can be injected into these areas to create a softer look. The botox will essentially relax the muscles creating the appearance of atrophic muscles. The results will last up to 3-4 months hence you will have to re-inject roughly 3x per year. When administered by an expert injector you shouldn't have an issue with too much laxity. The biggest issue will be muscle weakness if you inject too large doses, which will be required in larger muscles (as compared to cosmetic forehead/face injections) See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Dear Courageous946571,Botox would actually do the opposite and cause your muscle to atrophy and get smaller. I would not recommend EmSculpt, based on the results I have seen it just won't get the results you are looking for because small calves are genetic...and don't generally respond to time in the gym. Muscle bulk for those of us with a weight lifting background comes from consistency and time, and in some people calves just don't respond. Some people opt for calf implants but they also have issues as well, such as the scar and potential for infection in the postoperative period. Hello and thank you for your question. I would recommend Emsculpt. Emsculpt uses high-intensity electromagnetic energy to trigger "supramaximal" contractions to cause hypertrophy of the muscle. In other words, its a newer device that builds muscle in a way that is unobtainable at the gym, no matter how much you train. Botox injected into this area is typically used to treat spastic muscles.  It works by relaxing the muscle in which it's injected.  I don't think it would give you the outcome you are looking for.
