Hi @Courageous539135! I recommend waiting until your infection clears prior to getting Botox. Best of luck to you!
Hello, thank you for your question. It is not recommended to have Botox injections while you have an infection. I recommend you to wait until the UTI has cleared.
Hi, thanks for your question. Typically, we recommend that you wait until any infection has cleared before getting your Botox treatment or any other elective procedure, just to be on the safe side. That said, if you have any further questions or concerns don't hesitate to speak to your doctor, and always best to disclose any medications you may be on to your Botox provider.
Hello!Botox (a.k.a. neuromodulators) treatments are a very popular procedure here at Solomon Facial Plastic in Toronto. At SFP, we offer various different options for neuromodulators, such as Botox, Nuceiva, and Dysport. I would recommend that you wait until your infection is treated and cleared before proceeding with any elective cosmetic procedure to be on the safe side. You may want to consult your family doctor first as well. All the best!
Thank you for your question. We usually recommend getting any infection cleared up prior to any elective procedure. It's always better to err on the side of caution. Having said that, the risk of infection with Botox is very slim. We wish you the best!
Hello! It would be best to wait until your infection has been treated to receive any cosmetic procedure.
Thank you for sharing your question. Best to clear any bodily infection before pursuing any aesthetic treatment. Hope this helps.
Aminoglycosides (ie, neomycin, clindamycin) may affect Botox results. The standard antibiotics used to treat UTIs do not fall into the class. However, you could always wait until your UTI is cleared and antibiotics are finished before treatment.
Thank you for your question. It is best to wait until you are back in good health before moving forward with a cosmetic injection. If on antibiotics, it is best to wait until you have completed your course of medication.
Hello and thank you for your question. I would highly recommend you do not get Botox while you have a UTI. Its best that your body is in good health when getting any form of cosmetic treatment. Best wishes.Dr. T
Hi @itsme4041! This was a great question. I recommend avoiding neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) and dermal fillers prior to planned conception. Botox is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I believe the risks out-way the benefits. Best of luck to you!
Hello and thanks for your question. Yes botox is great to help lift- especially if it is injected between the brows it is very effective. Always seek a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes
Hello, thank you for your question. It seems like you can benefit from Botox, you may need 5-7 units. I recommend you to schedule a consultation for a proper evaluation.
