I would not recommend Botox in this area. It is unlikely to provide much improvement and may actually have negative effects. Dermal filler may be helpful if it is applied precisely. Skin tightening treatments like Ultherapy might also be a good option. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist. Through an in-person assessment and detailed conversation about your concerns and goals, your doctor should be able to help you find a treatment plan that will bring some improvement to the asymmetry.

thank you for your question.I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion (J Plasma), thread lifting, and peels to get the most conservative, natural look. Botox would not help with the uneven smile lines that you see.  Most people do not have symmetric faces, so it is not unusual that there would be a difference between the sides of your face.

       I actually have suffered from a similar issue bilaterally.  I found that a combination of treatments was very helpful for me. I did Ultherapy to stimulate deep collagen and tighten the tissue. I followed this with Skinpen (you also could do Halo), to target more superficial collagen. I then made sure I was utilizing medical-grade skincare to its' fullest potential (especially using retinol). I also did several BBL treatments to target even more collagen. With this combination, I saw a huge reduction in smile lines over a 12 month period.  Hope this helps.

Hi and thank you for your question,Botox for the lines shown in the picture above is very risky in that, if to much Botox is given or if it is given in the wrong area, your smile may be uneven for 2-3 months.  An in office evaluation is likely required before planning any intervention. I hope this helps,John Frederick
