Would another BBL be worth it or would hip implants be better?

You are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock or hip dips, post-deflation sagging, etc.). It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor but rather the quality of the procedure that is a large part of the problem. Thus, going back for round 2 BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss. Buttock and hip implants indeed provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock or hip implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).

It is very likely, based on these photos, that additional augmentation and shaping of buttock may help. Only on the basis of in person consultation (second opinion, another surgeon), on can make such a decision. Good luck.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Thanks for the question/s but your posted photos were NOT helpful.... You need ether in person or virtual consultations with experienced private practice boarded Plastic Surgeons. I think if your HT&WT are slightly over 28 BMI you have enough fat to transfer in a redo lipo 360+/BBL. Expect fees in the $7,000-$12,000 ranges.

If you want us to assess the outcome of a procedure then you need to post proper before and after pictures.

In your before pictures you were flexing your hips which is going to create a completely different body contour.

If you don’t have proper before and after pictures then ask the provider who did your procedure to forward the ones they took.

It’s up to you if you want to have another procedure either with your current provider or have consultations with other providers.

Implants have a long list of potential complications and undesirable side effects but they are an OK choice for some people.

The great majority of plastic surgeons in the United States do not offer gluteal implants or hip implants and there’s a reason for that.

Follow up with your provider or schedule in person consultations with new providers.
