I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

To make an assessment regarding the outcome of a surgical procedure we need to see you before and after pictures. If you don’t have your formal before and after pictures then you should ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took.

You’re a surgeon did your procedure so he or she is the most qualified person to make an assessment regarding what was done and what could be causing your shape or a contour problem.

I suggest first and foremost you follow up with your provider. If that person is unable to help you with your needs and then I suggest scheduling in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons who have extensive experience with this procedure. When doing second opinion consultations always bring before and after pictures and a copy of your medical record especially the operative report.

It’s a little difficult to tell exactly what’s going on.

An MRI would be a better way to visualize the soft tissues in the buttocks because it puts things into context in a different way than an ultrasound.
