I had my first bbl January 2021.. I am so unhappy with the outcome. My stomach is so uneven especially the bottom right. The left side has a bump but it's not hard.. and there are some indentations as well. The surgeon sucked me dry. When I lay down, there's no fat on my flanks or back. I tried compressing, cavitation, wood therapy, and cupping. Nothing seems to take it away. What bothers me the most is my right hip. There's a big big dent.. what should I do? desperate
Answer: BBL results Dear nickievan, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Please help. My BBL is botched and I have no fat to transfer Sorry for the results. As for the fibrosis or internal scarring of the abdomen, what type of liposuction was used? VASER? PowerAssisted or Traditional cannulae? Was J-Plasma used? These all can increase the fibrosis/denting effect. The only possible option that "might" improve is the S.A.F.E lipo fibrosis releasing of the complete abdomen with use of a drain (BTW did you have a drain?). Then multiple lymphatic massages with specialized taping. As for the lateral BBL dent, since you have no more donor fat, I recommend 100 mixed cc's of Sculptra injection over 2-4 sessions each. The Fibrosis release fees range from $6,000-$8,000. Sculptra fees in the $4,500-$9,000 ranges/session. Good Luck.

Answer: BBL results In your post you said you had your first BBL. Were you planning on having a second one? Liposuction is permanent and in many ways irreversible. I cannot stress enough the importance of vetting surgeons adequately before committing to this procedure. For years I’ve been encouraging patients to do this I have a multiple in person consultations before committing to surgery. during consultations patients should ask providers to show all of their before and after pictures to confirm the surgeon has the experience and delivers the type of results patients had hoped for. seeing a handful of results representing the best outcomes of someone’s career is insufficient to judge the outcome of these procedures in the hands of any particular provider. delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction and fat transfer results is far more difficult than people believe. some of the overzealous results like the dent in your hip may be partially correctable with fat transfer it. Your back and arms have not been treated so that is a potential source of fat. It’s not my style of liposuction but I’ve certainly seen much worse. patients constantly nag about lack of results for these procedures so I don’t blame surgeons for trying to push the envelope. nonsurgical treatments are not going to reverse removing too much fat during Liposuction. The outcome of the procedure is determined at the end of surgery and postoperative care really has no impact on the final outcome. Other than following up with your provider the only other option is to have in person consultations with other plastic surgeons to see if they feel like they can make improvements with revision work.
