Microneedling 1mm at home after filler and botox?

Question

Hi is it safe to use a 1mm dermaroller if you have had fillers/botox approximately 1 week previously? I'm presuming the botox is fine as that into muscle but not sure on the fillers . Thanks

We do not recommend Botox treatments until at least 1-2 weeks after microneedling treatments.  I would use caution doing home microneedling treatments.  It can cause serious complications if not done by a professional.I hope this helps.

I don't recommend doing these types of treatments at home. Microneedling is best administered by a professional. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers for best results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I do not recommend microneedling at home. This procedure should be done by a well-trained professional. You will increase your risk for infection and other complications by performing procedure on yourself. The dermaroller is very different from the microneedling devices used in a clinic setting, and I do not recommend this device. Please follow with a trained expert if you want to have this procedure done.

I would never recommend any dermal roller. We have seen over and over patients damaging their skin from dermal rollers. Microneedling is a medical device where the needles mechanically go up and down. The provider adjusts the depth and speed depending on the patient and the areas being treated. You can microneedle 1 week after fillers and botox.
