I don't think I need surgery yet but would like to explore non-surgical options for eye lid tightening that is proven to be effective.
Answer: Upper eyelid Thermi smooth can be used to help treat the upper and lower eye area. Other options are fractional laser resurfacing and Thermage . Special eye shields ( similar to contact lenses) must be worn when treating over the eyelid itself. Other procedures such as ultherapy treat the upper brow area to help tighten skin and can provide some improvement to the skin in the upper eye area

Answer: ThermiTight for upper eyelids Thank you so much for your question! ThermiTight is not approved for use on the eyelids. However, you could definitely try ThermiSmooth for the area. Generally you need a series of treatments for ThermiSmooth. Other non-surgical options that you could look into to treat the upper eyelids are injectables like filler or botox to lift the eyebrow, CO2 laser, and IPL.

Answer: ThermiTight for upper eyelids ThermiTight is approved to be used on the neck, breasts, arms, abdomen, thighs and knees. Unfortunately, it is not used for the upper eyelids. ThermiSmooth can be used to tighten upper eyelid skin. Another non-surgical rejuvenation option for eyelid tightening is the Fractional Co2 Laser treatment, which reduces the furrows of wrinkles and improves elasticity of the skin. However, a consultation with your board-certified surgeon is necessary to determine what treatment is best for you.

Answer: What noninvasive modalities can tighten upper eyelid skin? ThermiSmooth is a component of the Thermi radiofrequency system that can help tighten the facial skin and lower lids. As well the user can make passes along the upper lid below the eyebrow (along the brow bone), which can help tighten the upper lid. We don't pass the handheld instrument directly over the thin lid skin directly overlying the globe of the eye (eyeball) because we don't want excessive thermal energy on this direct location. I have had this procedure done several times along my lower lid and periocular (around the eye) skin and really like its effect. Like many forms of RF for skin tightening, one may have to undergo several (3-4) treatments to achieve the best response. Also, those with more elastic skin respond better- older individuals with folds of eyelid skin may actually benefit more from a surgical blepharoplasty (with or without a browlift) to rejuvenate this area.
