Youdon't have to wait for your ThermiTight treatment unless your Botoxand fillers were placed in the exact area you want to treat withThermiTight. The only reason to wait is to avoid the risk ofincreased swelling and bruising. In that case, you should wait oneweek. However, usually fillers and Botox are placed in differentlocations, so we often inject them after ThermiTight on the same dayfor a beautiful combination treatment. Please find a board-certifieddermatologist to help you devise a long-term treatment plan to keepyour skin looking youthful and fresh.
As ThermiTight is commonly done on the lower cheeks and neck, and not in the cheekbones, smile folds or marionette lines where fillers are injected, patients in my NYC practice often have both done within two weeks. If there happens to have been some filler in the cheeks where the ThermiTight is performed, there is a theoretical question if the longevity of the filller's effectiveness is affected by the heat produced by ThermiTight, but this has not been proven.
Good questions - you can have ThermiTight done any time with Botox. The big question is where are the fillers placed? I would wait at least two weeks before considering ThermiTight in an area that recently had fillers. The ThermiTight procedure can generate temperatures beneath the skin that may affect the duration of your fillers.
Assuming the Botox is not injected into the neck (eg. for neck platysmal bands) and the filler is not injected into the lower face / neck, ThermiTight for the lower face / neck could be performed at any time following the injections. It is always a good idea to let the treating physician know about any other procedures you have had done and when.Best wishes.
Since Botox and Dermal Fillers have virtually little to no downtime, ThermiTight can be used on the lower face and neck as soon as possible after your non-surgical injections. Discussing this option with your board-certified plastic surgeon can help confirm what treatment plan is ideal for your aesthetic goals.
Botox and fillers can be done on the same day that the Thermi tight is being performed. The only contraindication would be if the Botox/ Filler is done in the same area that the Thermi procedure is being done, because of the swelling and heat that comes from the treatment. If filler is being placed in the same area that ThermiTight is being performed, it is a good idea to wait about two weeks.
The first question is where was your filler and botox placed? If you had filler in the cheeks , you may want to wait at least 2 weeks since often a compression garment is used for head and neck after ThermiTight of the neck and lower face. I would also wait at least 2 weeks after the Botox as long as it was on the upper face.If you had filler on the lower face, I would wait a longer period of time. I would also not do thermi tight on the neck if you had botox there until it wears off.
I personally prefer ThermiTight - this is the treatment I have used on many patients in my practice with great success. ThermiTight delivers radiofrequency energy deep into the dermal layers via tiny electrodes, where the gentle heating will have the greatest effect. Keep in mind that any...
ThermiTight is safe and very well tolerated; most patients have no pain at all. Just to be safe, I'd advise you to refrain from exercise for at least 24 hours after your treatment because you might be sore. You don't have to worry about the effects of raising your heart rate or of suffering an...
Thank you for your question. I recommend a combination of procedures for optimal results. ThermiTight utilizes a small electrode inserted under the skin to heat tissue to a selected therapeutic temperature. Literature has shown that elevating skin to a therapeutic temperature level can c...
Please call your physician, this should not occur, but is a risk with any energy based device. This appears to be burns with scarring and needs shock therapy and massage with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation prevent creams at this point. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thanks for your question. ThermiTight and Thermi250 are both treatments using radiofrequency (RF) energy for the purpose of melting fat and tightening skin and in my opinion both are uniquely better at accomplishing this than any other device on the market. Thermi250 is non-surgical and is a...
