Your orbit will be inflamed and swollen after surgery. There is a high incidence of double vision. Provided you do not have double vision, driving should be possible after this time frame. Speak with your surgeon and see what they recommend
Best to ask your surgeon. It depends on exactly what is done and how much bruising/swelling you get after surgery. Usually, one can drive about one week after surgery.
People usually have severe swelling after orbital decompression and the swelling may interfere with their vision. We usually recommend to wait one to two weeks after the surgery to try to drive. But there few patients, who will recover much faster than others and their vision is fine to drive. So my recommendation to my patients is that to wait and try to drive after they feel their vision is back to normal or near normal.
