Ptosis from myopia in one eye?

My problem is that i have a mild ptosis in my left eyelid (which affects my face symmetry a little bit), and what i noticed when i wear my lenses is that my eyelid lifts up sometimes. Could the myopia be the reason behind the ptosis? Thanks.
