Is there any option naturally or is fillers my only option. Is something like retinol for example Roc helpful? I heard once they form they won't go away but I'm only 23. I tried to gain my weight back But I don't see any progress for the tear trough and they are just getting worse and worse. They make me look 10 years older. My nose isn't high with this happening it looks like I have a sunken X across between my eyes. I'm extremely depressed. Will weight gain fix this or is it forever?
Answer: Tear troughs can be filled with a couple of things... Fat injection is a great way to fill the tear troughs. A small amount of fat is harvested, processed and placed in the tear troughs. Sometimes a second injection is needed, but after that, a long term result can be achieved. Also a filler such as Restylane can be injected in the office, but it will have to be repeated every six months or so.

Answer: Sculptra I think Sculptra is a great option for the tear trough in younger people. It usually gives very natural results and lasts much longer than hyaluronic acid fillers. If you look at the Sculptra website, you can see several examples of how this medicine can work. I'm sure you can find a physician close to you that offers this treatment.

Answer: Tear trough hollows Unfortunately gaining weight will not address your concerns. We age in a combination of ways and volume loss is the beginning of it. You have started it under your eyes. Please do not fret about this as this is a natural process. The good news is a small amount of filler in the area can help. I usually use belotero in this area or fat transfer. Please review my profile for befores and afters and if you go to my website, you will be able to watch a video explaining how the volume loss occurs as we age. Good luck!.

Answer: Weight may or may not "fix" this. The under eye fillers are a very effective way of dealing with this issue. As your face changes over time, the hyaluronic acid fillers can easily be adjusted accordingly. Treatment typically last over a year so that many find that this is a much better option than trying to have a surgery. I personally prefer Restylane for this area. So-called smooth fillers like Belotero and Juvederm don't hold up well in this location. So who you go to and the choice of product makes a big difference in the outcome.

Answer: Under eye hollowing From the photo is appears that you've lost volume in the mid-face, which is very typical of patients with weight loss. Sculptra may be an excellent option for you since it is long lasting and creates volume by stimulating your own collagen. Fillers may be another good option and most surgeons stay away from fat injections these days because they are less predictable and are associated with more complications (besides there is nothing "natural' about taking fat from your abdomen and injecting it into your face). Most importantly, seek out an injection specialist, ideally and oculofacial plastic surgeon with extensive experience treating around the eye area and have a consultation to determine which options are best for you.best of luck!
