I'm concerned about my long labia lips, how it's very wrinkled and it's very dark. I'm afraid that my boyfriend will think I have had many sex before. Is there any cream I could use to lighten it? I also did laser removal and it created acne and red bumps that turn dark.

Labia range in size from a sliver of tissue to a large tongue-like projection of skin, so your anatomy is within the normal range. Size and color are affected by genetics and hormones, but also by deliveries and trauma. With that said, if you (not your partner) are unhappy with the appearance of your labia, the size can be reduced, just make sure to go to an experienced cosmetic-plastic gynecologist who has done hundreds of these procedures and knows how to address complications when they occur. The lightening creams on the market are more for the outer labia majora and anal areas not the inner labia minora. Some of these can be irritating products so if you try any of them, test a small area first.Lastly, if your boyfriend is making you feel self-conscious or unhappy with your body, it's time for a new boyfriend. Answer: Should you change your labia or change your boyfriend? Skin bleaching isn't an option for the labia minora. The skin is too sensitive for this. Surgery will not remove all of the darkened skin, but it will reduce the length of the skin and the wrinkling. However, your labia are normal in appearance. There is no relationship between the size and color of your labia and having sex or not. If your boyfriend has said these things to you perhaps he does not know this or is trying to control you. If you are seeking out these changes to please your boyfriend, that is a mistake. If he really cares about you, he wouldn't say these things.

It has nothing to do with sex, intercourse, the number of partners someone has been with, nor masturbation. Any person who judges someone else by the appearance of their body, especially when they are wrong, is a bad person. That said, we can be strict about how we allow ourselves to look.
