The Preservation Deep Plane Facelift is an ideal choice for individuals in their mid-50s seeking comprehensive facial rejuvenation. This advanced technique addresses key signs of aging, such as sagging in the midface, jowls, and neck, by lifting and repositioning deeper tissues rather than just tightening the skin. Its tissue-sparing approach minimizes disruption to facial anatomy, preserving vascular integrity and reducing recovery time. By targeting deeper structures, it effectively restores youthful contours while maintaining a natural appearance. Perfect for patients with moderate aging concerns, this procedure delivers long-lasting results with minimal downtime, making it an excellent option for this age group.
Thank you for your question. In terms of facial rejuvenation, you do have some mid face descent, jowls, and neck skin laxity. You may benefit from a deep plane facelift to address the mid face, neck and jowls. You would likely also benefit from a buccal fat reduction to address some fullness in the cheeks. Best to speak to a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation. All the best.
Thank you for your question and sharing your photos. You have the advantage of limited degree of sun damage and a favourable skin elasticity which aggregate to produce a more powerful improvement with facial rejuvenation interventions. The eyebrows and upper eyelids appear youthful. There is a moderate amount of buccal fat ptosis and moderate visibility of the circles under the eyes. If you would like to understand the potential impact of a deep plane facelift procedure, and decide whether it is a worthwhile direction of change for you, I suggest that you examine the appearance of your face when you are lying down completely flat, without a pillow. It provides a reasonable approximation for the effects of a facelift. A deep plane neck lift would complement the changes and produce more definition for the jawline. Complementary possible interventions could include buccal fat reduction and transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty.
Hello, hope you are well. Thank you for submitting your question and photos. Your perioral area (around the mouth and lips) is where I would focus your attention. I would suggest a lip lift (with corner lift) to reduce the length of the philtrum and improve upon the down-turning of the corners of the mouth. There are a variety of options to reduce the fine lines around the mouth ("smoker's lines") as well (the newest and most promising that we offer is Ellacor). Conservative fat grafting in strategic areas and buccal fat removal can also enhance the shape of your cheeks, but deciding on those options requires in-person consultation. Best,Dr. Tower
A deep plane facelift in combination with Neck Liposuction and Platysmaplasty will give a great result. You still might need filler in cheeks or fat grafting at the same time as your facelift. If you are not ready for a big procedure then get neck liposuction with Thermitight and use fillers for cheek and the marionette lines.RegardsDr. J
I agree a facelift would be beneficial. I would also perform extensive liposuction of your neck, cheek and jowls to thin out your face
In our practice, a lower face and neck lift with accomplish tightening loose facial and neck skin, tightening loose, facial and neck muscles, lifting the jowls, and removing the significant compartments of fat located both above and below your platysma muscle. This also includes a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline.
Firstly, I recommend a non-surgical approach using fat grafting for areas under the eyes, nasolabial folds, and around the mouth. The second option is a surgical procedure, involving midfacelift and lower facelift. The midfacelift can be combined with transcutaneous lower blepharoplasty, effectively addressing under-eye hollowing and the upper part of nasolabial fullness. This procedure can partially improve the jawline area. For more significant correction of the jawline and lower face, I recommend a classical facelift.

Thermage and Ultherapy use heat or sound waves to target tissues beneath the skin, aiming to tighten and rejuvenate. However, these treatments can sometimes compromise the integrity of the underlying tissue over time. For individuals who have undergone these procedures and desire more...
The scars that you show can be due to tension on the skin after closure. Genetics also contributes to the severity of scarring as does the type of suture used to close the incision. Steroids, used judiciously, can help. In your case, due to the severity, an excision followed by three small...
