I had a breast augmentation w/ gummy bear implants done a year ago & left breast has a squishy feeling like water or air is in it but it is the implant. Should I get this looked at or is it something I should go to the emergency room?
Answer: Implants Do not go to the emergency room since this is not an emergency. I would suggest going back to your surgeon and being examined. An ultrasound might be helpful. It also could just be an area of thin tissue and your feeling the implant more.

Answer: Seroma Hi, thank you for sharing your question. It is very rare to have fluid or air in an operative site for this long. While it may not be dangerous, you should discuss it with your plastic surgeon who may want to obtain imaging studies. Fluid adjacent to a textured implant will warrant investigation. I hope this helps.

Answer: Left breast has squishy water feeling - should I get an x-ray for my breast? Any questions regarding the integrity of your implants should be addressed by your surgeon. He or she will generally be able to make much better diagnostic and treatment recommendations than your primary care or emergency room physician.

Answer: Asymmetry Good morning! You should definitely be examined by your plastic surgeon, because you could be developing a capsular contracture or could have an early rupture.
