Is it possible inject 2 syringes of Juvéderm in the lips at the same time?

I want to get my lips injected and last time I got only one syringe. I didn’t think it was enough and would look to do two syringes. Can I do two at once or does it have to Be spaced out?

Thanks for the question danielerusek. Yes, you can absolutely inject two syringes of Juvederm Ultra at the same time. You could also try Juverdem Ultra Plus which is a thicker product and may give you the look you want with just one syringe. If you were a new patient to fillers I might advise starting out with one syringe, depending on your lip anatomy, and reevaluate in 2-3 weeks. But since you’ve had filler to the lips and know what to expect, there should be no problem.

Hello!Yes, using 2 syringes at the same session can be done but I would be very cautious. I typically recommend starting out with one and coming back within 2-3 weeks for a touch up if you desire more. Spacing it out will help the results look more natural with less complications and bruising.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  It is possible to inject two syringes of Juvederm at the same time if you understand the increased swelling and lip firmness that will accompany this type of treatment.  Typically safer, more predictable results can be obtained with syringes placed 2-4 weeks apart.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for the question and photograph.  An in person consultation is necessary to determine your best course of action.  Two syringes can be placed simultaneously.  That said, I prefer to split sessions into two one month apart. I find layering adds to longevity and improved contours.  Most important is to find a cosmetic surgeon who understand the lips contours and anatomy.  While the filler may be the same the artistry can be very different. Do not discount your face.

While it is possible to inject two syringes at one time, this will most likely cause more swelling than you might be used to, and it may result in more volume than you want. In the long run, it’s usually better to start with a smaller amount and then see how you feel about the results once the product has had time to settle. If you still want more volume at that point, you can go ahead and get the second syringe.

The technique and choice of product and the injector will determine how much filler you need. You may do sufficiently as well with one thicker filler as 2 thinner fillers for instance. To answer your question though, you most certainly can have 2 syringes at once, especially since you've already tried 1 syringe and found it in the past to not be enough. A change in filler or technique may also be something to consider, ask your dermatologist.

It is absolutely possible to do two syringes at the same treatment session.  I rarely start with two into the lips, but if you have had one in the past and know that was not enough enhancement for you, then you should do two next time!

Hi. To create noticeably plump and sensual lips most often than not you have to space out the injections by 2-4 weeks and repeat more often to build up and shape as you go.  Most often the lips especially thinner lips just dont have enough room for 2cc and it ends up stiff and sausage like.

Technically, you can inject two syringes into the lips. The question is should it be done? You can have a substantial lip enhancement with one syringe if filler is placed correctly. remember, its not the volume that will give you beautiful and full lips but the eversion and lift. It is easy to empty two syringes and blow up the lips, something that is done too frequently, something that always creates a fake and unaesthetic look. Look at your prospective injector's before and after photos related to lips. It takes no more than 2 seconds to know. Good luck!
