Is the risk of infection increased when implant removal is performed in an office setting instead of a surgical setting?

rdy2bemeagain
Hello, As far as infection control is concerned, is it safe to have implants removed in an office setting vs a room designed for surgeries? I am considering having my implants removed In office under local anesthesia. My only concern is infection in a office setting versus in a sterile setting.
