Small wisdom tooth infection almost gone, should I postpone BA is scheduled in 2 days?

Please ask your surgeon about this. They would be the best person to decide whether your surgery should be postponed.

Thank you for your query! Whenever there is any infection, it is good idea to postpone a breast augmentation procedure. The risk, although small , under antibiotic coverage, is still there and there is also a higher risk of capsular contracture if there is a sub clinical infection. Please discuss your concerns with your Plastic surgeon and postpone your breast augmentation till all the infection is gone. All the best!

Thank you for sharing your question. I would recommend speaking to your surgeon, but you should not have surgery if you have an active infection taking place.

All cosmetic surgery is elective, not emergent. If there is even the chance of an infection, I believe the safest course of action is to wait. Potential complications are infection, which can lead to implant removal, as well as capsular contracture.
I know it is inconvenient, and it is for the surgeon as well, but be safe.

It is best to wait for the infection to clear up completely before undergoing breast augmentation. First, concurrent infection puts you at risk for further infection. Second, your oral infection can interfere with your anesthesia. Regardless consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.

If you have been on antibiotics, you should be ok to proceed with your breast augmentation. However, this is a question for your plastic surgeon. Please give your plastic surgeon's office a call today.

In general it is not a good idea to undergo any type of surgery, especially placement of an implant, if you have any type of active infection. This is something you should discuss with your surgeon immediately. You run the risk of getting a post-op infection that can negatively affect your outcome and health.
