What is wrong with my eye & how can I fix this? Double & blurry vision, dry eyes (Photo)

Question

Is this just a lazy eye or something else? I’ve been struggling for the past 5 years and i feel kind of helpless right now. These are my symptoms: -Non symmetrical eyelids; left top eyelid is bigger then my right eye -Double vision (left eye) -Blurriness (left eye) -Extreme dry eyes (both eyes) How can i fix this? I appreciate every comment and tip i can get. Any help is so welcome at this point.

It does look like you have eyelid ptosis but given your other concerns, esp the double vision in one eye, I would strongly strongly recommend you consult with an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) because you should not have double vision with ptosis so it may be more than just that and could be more serious.

You definitely need to see an ophthalmologist for a comprehensive examination of your eyes. The asymmetry could be corrected through surgery, and you do appear to have some degree of ptosis, but this doesn't fully explain your symptoms. Prior to ANY surgical intervention to address asymmetry, the other concerns need to be fully explored to ensure a medical/neurologic issue is not present which may preclude or change any intervention.

Regarding issues with vision like double vision, or brines I suggest you see an ophthalmologist.
If you’re interested in surgical, correction of your eyelids, then an oculoplastic surgeon may be a better provider.
They should be able to address both issues related to visual disturbance and the aesthetic appearance of your eyes.
It looks like your right upper eyelid has mild ptosis.
To make an assessment of this is in someways and more dynamic process because as we move our head position, it changes how low the eyelid appears.
The same is also true if you change your angle of gaze.
You can check with plastic surgeons and facial plastic surgeons as well, but I think your needs may be potentially better met by someone who does oculoplastic surgery.
 All people have substantial facial symmetry, but in your case, there is a symmetry of your eyelids and surgical intervention could improve not only your appearance but hopefully also your visual field.
