I have my implants removed after 4 weeks, it was a huge mistake. My question is,how big of a chance is that I might develop the animation deformity after the removal? Can it happen even though I had them only for a month? They were placed under a muscle, 350cc.I was 34A pre-op, never been a gym enthusiast.I noticed many people develop it even 6 months post-op.Does staying away from the gym for longer after the surgery helps to prevent it too?I’m afraid of any side effects, I loved my boobs before.
Answer: Animation deformity after breast implants removal, risks Animation deformity refers to the movement or distortion of the breast implants when the chest muscles contract. It is more commonly associated with submuscular (under the muscle) placement of implants, as the muscle movement can cause the implants to shift or become distorted. While it's difficult to provide an exact percentage or chance of developing animation deformity after implant removal, it is generally considered less likely compared to cases where implants are in place for a longer period of time. The muscle has had less time to adapt and potentially cause significant changes in the breast pocket. However, individual factors can influence the development of animation deformity, such as the specific surgical technique used, the size of the implants, and the characteristics of your breast tissue and chest muscles. It's best to consult with a qualified plastic surgeon who can evaluate your unique situation and provide a more accurate assessment based on your medical history and physical examination. Regarding the timing of returning to the gym after implant removal, it's important to follow the post-operative instructions provided by your surgeon. They will typically advise on when it is safe to resume various activities, including exercise. This may vary depending on your specific case, so it's essential to communicate any concerns or questions with your surgeon directly.

Answer: Animation Deformity After Explant Hello, thank you for your question. It’s understandable to feel anxious about the changes to your body after having implants removed, especially given your concerns about animation deformity. Please see the attached video that answers your question. While there is a possibility of animation deformity after explantation, especially if the muscle was manipulated, the risk may be lower given your short period of having implants. Taking care of your body by avoiding strenuous exercise in the early recovery phase can help minimize risks. It’s crucial to stay in close communication with your healthcare provider throughout your recovery to address any concerns you may have. Prioritize your physical and emotional well-being as you navigate this transition.

Answer: Removal If you don't have it now, you probably won't get it since the implants are not behind the muscle and in the way when the muscle contracts.

Answer: You shouldn't have animation deformity following removal of your implants Animation deformity occurs because the implant is below the muscle and shifts when the muscle is activated. Once the implant is removed, you should no longer have animation deformity. Please make sure you speak to a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who can assist you through the healing process.
