When they go in to remove the suture granuloma, they will have to open up part of the muscle repair that was done in order to identify the granuloma itself. That is why I always use absorbable sutures for the repair, because it will not cause such a problem. When the general surgeon removes the suture granuloma, he can refix it while he is there.

The benefit of saline implants is that you can deflate them and remove the fluid. There is no danger in this. However, once you decide to deflate them, all the fluid will be gone. You cannot just remove some of the fluid. Whenever patients want to remove saline implants and go to smaller implants, I typically will deflate them ahead of time in order to allow the implant pocket to downsize, and then go in and replace the implants 1-2 months later. Today is exactly 1week post surgery of having BRS. My experience with Dr. Lalezar was the absolute best. I made a consultation for breast reduction and I was explained the entire procedure step by step.
