44 days post Artas FUE hair transplant and had an accident. Advice, facts, and/or reassurance appreciated. (photo)

Had an accident while pursuing the leash of a runaway pup during which my knee gave out and I crashed head-first into a steel garage door. My head hit a corner bracket fairly hard, but thankfully I had a ball-cap on which mitigated the damage somewhat. Attached is a pic of what the transplant looked like post op, followed by pics taken after the accident. Seems to me a wound similar to an intense rug-burn (see the scrape inside the hat). Is there any risk to the integrity of the transplant?

As you probably knwo from your research and discussions with your surgeon you will tpically not see much growth for the first 43-4 months and usually not full growth until a years is up. At this point it is hard to judge what kind of result you will have. It would help to see your immediately...

THC or Marijuna use is not recommended for any procedure. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

It is not a good start when you don't trust your doctor after the surgery. You can have someone count 2000 individual scabs.

There isn't a specific product to hide your scar. You may want to ask your doctor for recommendations. You can always comb your hair forward.

In general transplanted hairs fall out within a few weeks after surgery. If you are concerned follow up with your doctor.

You had surgery already. It's too late to ask if it was the right thing to do. Photos cannot tell you if the surgery went well either.  It will take 6 to 12 months to see the results.
