Do you have to wear compression on them and how long? Thank you
Answer: Bodytite for arms: How long is recovery for getting arms done? Will it be bruised? Thanks for your questions. BodyTite is an excellent option to treat the arms. Liposuction is typically performed along with BodyTite, so some bruising is possible. Recovery with this procedure is typically short as most of the significant swelling and discomfort is resolved within a week (depends on how much liposuction is performed). My patients typically wear compression for 2-3 weeks and have some exercise limitations for 3-4 weeks.

Answer: Bodytite for arms: How long is recovery for getting arms done? Will it be bruised? Bruising and swelling can occur after BodyTite and will usually resolve in a few weeks. Typically, you can return to sedentary activities within two to three days; full activity with exercise, within two to three weeks. If you have liposuction with BodyTite, a compression garment is typically recommended.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Garment after Bodytite There is lesser risk of bruising with liposuction with Bodytite than with liposuction alone. Garments are worn for 6 weeks regularly followed by 6 weeks only at night. This is my garment protocol for arms. Other areas of the body require varying length of time for use of garments.Regards, Dr. Ravi Somayazula Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery- American Board of Medical Specialties Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)- Subcommittee Task Force on Patient Safety Member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) Member of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, Houston Society of Plastic Surgeons, Harris County Medical Society

Answer: BodyTite and PAL for Arm Lifts I like the combination of BodyTite and PAL for arm lifts because it can be done with a 3mm incision and there is no downtime. I had a patient return to work which included traveling for meetings. I had her use compressive sleeves. Once they loosened up after a week or so we sent her a smaller compression sleeve set. It is a game changer for my practice in terms of offering arm lifts to patients.
