I like to add liposuction to help remove the fat that has been heated by the BodyTite treatment. It also gives a chance to contour the area as well. Removal of small amounts of fat can make a significant difference on the overall appearance of the result.
Thank you for your question. Body Tite is a fairly new procedure that works by using a radiofrequency loop that stimulates new collagen production thus shrink wrapping or tightening the tissue. Often times people do need liposuction in the area of concern but not allows. Body Tite will work the same way with or without liposuction. I recommend you schedule a consult with a board certified Plastic Surgeon who is experienced with the system. They will be able to assess your specific anatomy and decide the best procedure for you. In our office, we offer 3D imaging to help our patient get an accurate idea of what their final result will look like. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. BodyTite is a minimally-invasive body contouring procedure that utilizes radio-frequency assisted lipolysis. It combines two successful technologies into a double-duty procedure that reduces fat while simultaneously tightening the skin. BodyTite reduces fat without leaving behind wrinkly or saggy skin thru the use of radio-frequency. It’s difficult to say without a full evaluation. For more information, please make sure you get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
Since the BodyTite works by heating the subcutaneous tissue, it is best to have at least a little fat in the area. But, the amount of skin contraction is actually more dependent on your body's ability to make collagen and respond to the energy by tightening.I would recommend seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area who performs BodyTite and get and in person exam and assessment.
Hi there,As I see it, a beautiful result requires optimization of the skin:fat balance. If you have extra skin but little fat: High energy BodyTite + Minimal liposuction (to remove oils and address minor contour deformities)If you have extra skin and some fat: Medium energy BodyTite + Moderate liopsuctionIf you have tight skin and plenty of fat: liposuction is all you need. Thanks for asking,
Thank you for your question. BodyTite does not necessarily work better if you have less fat. The primary determinant of the success of BodyTite is the condition of the skin and connective tissue prior to the procedure. If there are extensive stretch marks in the target area, the degree of skin tightening will be less significant. Further, the condition of the fibrous network beneath the skin will be a determinant. If it has been highly stretched out or extensively damaged by liposuction procedures, there will be less tightening. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

I have not had this experience with my patients using BodyTite with or without the addition of liposuction.
