I had Xeomin injected 4 days ago and really don't like my new "frozen" expressions. Can I fade it quicker somehow?

Also would like to keep that muscle sort of active so it doesn't atrophy. I don't like that I can't stretch the muscle now that it is frozen basically. Should I push it up and down with my hand a few times a day? Or massage? What is proven to help it stay active? What is the average fade time of Xeomin done on two areas? (it was 3 syringes I don't know the exact amount give or the dilution amount either) . Thanks for your help!!

Unfortunately there is no way to make the Xeomin fade faster.  Xeomin works by temporarily reducing muscle activity, resulting in decreased facial wrinkles.  Over time your body will create new nerve terminals which allow muscle activity to resume.  The effects typically last anywhere from three to four months. I always advise speaking with the doctor who injected you about any questions or concerns that you might have.

Thanks for this question. There's no known way to make a "frozen" face appearance from neuromodulators fade away any faster once the product has been injected. I would, however, recommend you see your injector and discuss your results. Good luck, Dr. ALDO

     There is nothing I am aware of that will decrease the duration of Xeomin. That being said, it should gradually wear off over the next three months, and will not do permanent damage to any part of your face. Any muscles that are weakened by this treatment will return to normal strength relatively quickly. Hope this helps.

I use Xeomin exclusively in my aesthetics practice because I have found it gives a "softer" look than Botox. However, that is dependent on the amount of units injected and the placement by your provider. The full effect of Xeomin should be seen at two weeks. Unfortunately, there are no reversal agents to undo the effects of Xeomin. Typical results may wear off in three to four months.

Xeomin locks the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which triggers the muscle contractions that create wrinkles. Xeomin essentially paralyze the muscles and stops them from contracting. Results from these treatments are visible within 3-7 days with results that can last anywhere from 3-4 months. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can speed up the process for the Xeomin to wear off. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, there is no reversal agent for any of the neuromodulators, but they normally wear off in3-4 months. No real exercises that can be done to prevent atrophy. Next time, have them place half the number of units.

Xeomin like Botox is a great product to soften frown lines. After injection the results will start to appear around the 3rd day after injection and will be fully there at 3 weeks. So it seams it is a little early for you, although in some patients the results can start to appear as early as the day after treatment.There is nothing you can do undo the results of your Xeomin. Next time you have the treatment you need to let the physician know you do not like the "frozen expression" and in that case you will need less product and injected only in the frown area.

at 4 days you sghould not have a great deal of frozen look so wait at least a total of 10days and see what it looks like. In answer there is no way to make it go away faster
