I believe it is alright to have Botox and Fillers without side effects. I would steer away from the collagen stimulating fillers such as Sculptra, Bellafill, and Radiesse. The HA fillers should be alright.
Normally with lip injections/ Juvederm it can last up to a year depending how the body metabolizes it. so i would say to follow up in about 6-9 months. you will have to get touch ups here and there as your lips are always moving.
It can take 1-2 weeks for burising and swelling to improve after lip fillers. If you did not bruise that is great! Best, Dr. Emer.
