I have a chin implant. It is malpositioned- and sitting too low, asymmetric, and loose. There have been multiple attempts to affix the implant without success. My plan now is a sliding genioplasty. But I strongly prefer a narrow, pointier chin. Is this possible with a sliding genioplasty?

Yes, the bone is technically healed after 6 weeks but definitely after 6 months. You will be able to see the cut on an xray for for a while, but it should eventually disappear.
