I would just love to minimize or remove the hump from my profile view. Would non surgical fillers be a solution? My wedding is in 7 months I am concerned about getting rhinoplasty before the big day but I also hate profile pictures of my bump. Also if I get fillers would my nose look too big for me face?
Answer: Very reasonable to consider non-surgical rhinoplasty Your situation is one of the more ideal situations for non-surgical rhinoplasty (i.e., injectable fillers) if you're not looking to change anything else. Filling in the bridge of your nose above the hump can nicely camouflage it without changing much of the rest of the nose. I would strongly recommend starting with a temporary filler like Juvederm since it's easily reversible with hyaluronidase. If you loved the look, you could always make it more permanent with a filler like Bellafill (which can still be adjusted and reduced if it were ever necessary). As for looking too big, size is surprisingly less important than proportion, so I don't think it would look "too big."All the best,--DCPPearson Facial Plastic Surgery®

Answer: Improvement of Dorsal Hump As you are aware, there are two options to correct a dorsal hump. First, rhinoplasty surgery can be performed which can permanently improve your profile. Other minor modifications of the nose can also be made at the time of your surgery. Non-surgical rhinoplasty, with injectable fillers, is also an option. The limiting factor is typically the severity of the hump, because attempting to camouflage a large dorsal hump can sometimes increase dorsal height to the point were it is not aesthetically pleasing. I would suggest in person consultation to discuss your goals, and review your time frame for recovery with your upcoming "Big Day"! I have provided a link below....Good Luck!

Answer: Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty With Volumizing Fillers Works Well To Camouflage Nasal Bridge Bumps From the photo provided, you appear to be an excellent candidate for a nonsurgical nose job using an injectable volumizing filler. I have been performing these kinds of procedures for about twenty years, and I can tell you that, with seven months until your wedding, you have plenty of time to "try out" your new nose. One way would be a test injection using either plain saline or diluted anesthetic. This would give you about five minutes (until the injected salt or lidocaine solution is reabsorbed) to see how you like your new nose. Alternatively, you can be treated directly with robust hyaluronic acid-based volumizers, such as Voluma XC or Restylane Lyft, which can be readily dissolved, if needed, with the commercially available enzyme, hyaluronidase. So, there is really little to be concerned about. In experienced hands, the results of treatment, which shouldn't take more than 3-5 minutes to perform, typically evoke an immediate "Wow!" response. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and insist upon seeing his/her before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck and congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Answer: An examination may be necessary to determine your candidacy for non-surgical rhinoplasty to camouflage your nasal bump. Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for bump removal, and nasal tip rotation for a less distracting, and more feminine nasal profile appearance. Your nose is not distracting on front view. Sometimes nasal bumps are too large to camouflage with fillers, so consider consulting with a specialist in both rhinoplasty, and nonsurgical rhinoplasty. Good luck! Dr joseph

Answer: Non Surgical Nosejob Candidate-- with Fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose and disguise a hump. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert.
