In our practice we prefer using Silikon-1000 for permanent nonsurgical rhinoplastic treatments in those who are good candidates. Injectable silicone has been used safely for nonsurgical permanent rhinoplastic treatments for over 50 years. Temporary gel fillers like HA are associated with necrosis (dead nasal skin), and blindness in a small minority of treatments, where Silikon-1000 has never been reported to cause necrosis or blindness.
