Answer: Liposuction problems Thank you for your pictures. Your results look like you've had some subcutaneous tissue loss. This is a tough revision. Anyway at least 6 to 12 months before visiting a revision. The revision may include liposuction and fat grafting.

Answer: More information needed for diagnosis It would be important to know what type of liposuction you had. Laser or ultrasonically assisted liposuction can generate thermal damage to the skin, which can create healing problems that appear to be occurring in the photographs provided.

Answer: Liposuction concerns i Butterflys. The immediate post op pic coloration isn't anything to worry about, There can be several reasons for the transient redness, but none are important since it resolved.Your current pics look like you have surface irregularities which is due to areas of fat that have been removed more than other. Also you have some loose skin which may improve over time. The certification indicates your doctor was trained in plastic surgery. You should address your concerns with your doctor and ask his opinion as to what you might expect as a final outcome. If further lipo is considered, it should be done with great caution and gingerly.sek

Answer: Liposuction results Although it is difficult to give a definitive answer with just the photos that you have given, in my opinion there is something wrong. I suspect that you had some type of energy related treatment, ultrasound, laser, etc. You could have sustained some type of heat related trauma to the tissues including the skin. This could lead to scar tissue and to skin discoloration. It is hard to tell from you pictures exactly what is going on with the skin. At this point all bruising coloration should be gone. After liposuction you can have skin irregularities based on loosening of the skin and scar tissue under the skin. These are common concerns that should be discussed preoperative with the patient and are possibilities that need to be accepted by the patient. Although skin discoloration can be a consequence of liposuction it is much less common. You should follow up with your Dr. If he continues to state that this result is normal you need a second opinion.
