When can I wear a normal bra after implant removal?

The best advice will come from the PS who removes your implants as post-operative protocol varies from PS to  PS.  My patients like the support and compression of a snug fitting sports bra for four to six weeks after breast implant removal.  After three to six months, some patients prefer to switch to underwire.

Thank you for your question. I recommend a compression bra in the immediate postop period. Patients are able to transition to an underwire bra once their incisions have healed. Ask your surgeon for his specific protocol. Best of luck.
