Skin tightening in the eyes and jaw line - would Sylfirm X or Ultherapy deliver better results?

Without photos, it is difficult to comment in any but the most general way. What can be said is that If there is sagging and jowl formation of the lower face and jawline, robust HA fillers have a proven track record (when injected by experienced physician injectors) for achieving nonsurgically and noninvasively immediate results for straightening and defining the jawline and treating jowls along the jawline. And if the problem is accordion lines and parallel laugh lines of the lower cheeks around the mouth, this, too, can be improved by injection of an appropriate cohesive, low viscosity HA filler properly injected in the region. A robust HA filler placed in the upper cheek region (the support region for the under-eyes) can also significantly improve under-eye hollows, bags and tear trough issues. By contrast, you would be wise to exercise a great deal of "buyer beware" when evaluating so many of the here-today-gone-tomorrow, relatively expensive "bells and whistles" light and energy-based treatments, etc. that are backed far more by heavy marketing hype than hard science. We were a big user of Ultherapy when it first came out and it is still a good treatment when used appropriately, but here are the reasons why we have pretty much replaced Ultherapy with the SylfirmX:
SylfirmX is much less painful and you can treat the whole face whereas, there are certain areas of the face that should not be treated with Ultherapy. In my experience, the SylfirmX gives better overall tightening although you you need to do 3 or more treatments for best results while the Ultherapy is meant to be a single treatment. The cost for 1 treatment of Ultherapy is comprable to 3 treatments of SylfirmX. If you do multiple areas like the face neck and chest, the Ultherapy pricing can become prohibitive because the provider has to pay for each pulse whereas 1 SylfirmX tip can be used to deliver a full face neck and even body treatment in a single session without the provider incurring any extra costs other than cost of labor. When used propery, Ultherapy has no down time. SylfirmX has almost no down time. There is some redness that usually resolves within 24 hours. Finally, SylfirmX is designed to be more of a regenerative treatment especially when combined with PRP or exosomes. The micro channels created by the needles allow these therapies to be absorbed into the skin, the focused ultrasound does not create any channels for products to be delivered. We still provide ultherapy for people who specifically request it, but SyfirmX is our top choice for non-invasive skin tightening.

You’re asking a question we get quite often. While both Sylfirm X and Ultherapy have their place, based on your goals of treating early loose skin around the eyes and jawline, I would generally lean more toward Sylfirm X.
Sylfirm X is more versatile and gentler around the delicate eye area,. It also improves fine lines, skin texture, and superficial tightening — making it a great choice for early signs of aging without the discomfort or longer recovery that can come with Ultherapy.

Hi and thanks for your question!Your best results will be with combination therapy of microneedling/radiofrequency (like Sylfirmx) and ultrasound therapy (like Ultherapy).My personal opinion is that Morpheus8 therapy is the top of the line for microneedling/radiofrequency and the newer technology in Sofwave is the top of the line therapy for ultrasound tightening.Hope this helps!
