A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, Botox, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
Under eye lines can be due to skin excess. Your photos appear to show under eye rolls (also called the jelly roll), which is due to muscle bunching. Botox can temporarily eliminate the jelly roll. Permanent elimination can be achieved with muscle excision. This can be done with a skin pinch approach. Excess skin can be removed at that time if needed. A skin pinch can be done under local anesthesia alone
Its hard to tell from your photo. Deep lines along the orbital rim (the bone under your eyes) would be treated with filler injections. Fine lines under the eyes are difficult to treat but sometimes improve with laser resurfacing. You would need an in person consultation and examination to see which procedures you may be a candidate for.
I think a combination of a tiny bit of Botox and possibly tear trough fillers would be great, and you might also benefit from PRP/microneedling in that area ; I'd need to have a closer look/inspection to make the final decision.
A combination of laser and filler can help improve the lines under the eyes. Laser treatments use heat to help change the texture of your skin but there is a downtime with the treatment. Everyone loses fat in our face as we age. Filler will help restore that volume and typically last 6-8 months.
Thank you for your question and pictures. Fines lines under the eyes are best treated with a combination for Botox, micro-needling with PRP, radio-frequency and / or laser resurfacing treatments. Dermal fillers are used to treat volume loss at the tear trough area. Surgical options are reserved for more severe cases. All the best, Dr. Michon
Thanks for your question. The pictures are not really close enough to make solid recommendations but some of the newer non surgical options would be useful for you to explore. We have had good success with platelet rich plasma or platelet rich fibrin matrix for rejuvenation of the lower lid and tear trough region. Also helpful are PDO smoothing threads- there are specially designed threads made by Eurothreads which we are able to literally glide into the skin in this region through just a tiny needle stick. They do dissolve over time but while there they stimulate new collagen formation in the dermis. I love to combine both of these procedures in fact. Best,Lisa Vuich, MD
Hi,From your pics the best option for treating the lower lids is a lower lid blepharoplasty. This can be done under local anesthesia and cost anywhere from $2500 to $3500. Best,Dr.S.
Hi Charlotte Fillers will help to give you a more balanced profile. deeper fillers can be used to bring the profile of the chin forward and to blend in dips at the corner of the mouth. Sometimes it is possible to place filler over the rear cheek bone to provide a slight lift, it is difficult to...
Hi @nellywaer! The upper cheek is a major support for the under eyes. I would first begin with addressing the volume loss in the cheeks followed by addressing the tear trough area. Best of luck to you!
Fat loss from steroids is a troublesome issue. Some times you body will heal it up over time. There are few people that need a surgical repair like a fat transfer. See a plastic surgeon. They can help. Best Roberta Beals
