Loose, saggy neck. Age 37. Will neck lipo help?

Catsadles  I appreciate your dilemma, however it appears from your photographs that liposuction is probably not your best option in your particular case.You have little fat in your neck only a modest amount of redundant skin along with platysmal bands. Your best options include a mini facelift addressing your neck or a sub mental platysmaplasty. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to evaluate the best option for you. Lipo is to treat excess fat.. you have a thin neck and are not a good candidate for  that. .I see muscle bands. Sometimes botox alone is good. If you want skin tightening then  you may want a  neck lift. I would have to see  you in person.. Good luck!

Liposuction isn’t likely to improve the appearance of your neck - there is a degree of skin redundancy but no obvious fat to remove.You also have a degree of mid-face descent, with some loss of cheek projection and definition of the jawline. These would therefore be best addressed by a form of face-necklift to resuspend the deeper tissues and redrape the skin. This usually involves a general anaesthetic and around a 2 weeks recovery.Good luck with your treatment.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. You have a few options available. One is a minimally-invasive, energy-based neck lift procedure to tighten your neck skin and either surgically or non-surgically address your platysmal bands. The second is to have botox injected into the bands, as you have been doing. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate you. Your have no fat of significance in the upper neck or submittal region. The loose skin at your jowls can be lifted and volumized with a mini facelift. I would think carefully before any neck liposuction. Check out our patient gallery.
