I am on hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Can I have liposuction surgery?

Hi there, thank you for your question. Typically we have our patients off of any estrogen 3-4 weeks before surgery. It varies with every surgeon and recommend finding a board certified plastic surgeon to have a consultation.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. HRT and blood clots are a concern during a general anesthetic, but not if you have your liposuction performed awake, under local anesthesia only. Awake liposuction has virtually no risk of blood clot formation. You may want to look into a non-surgical, minimally invasive, flash recovery body contouring procedure.
