Why is my lip disappearing? Cupid’s bow is becoming crooked and less defined. Would filler fix this? (photos)

First, your lip is lovely. Please understand that will it may be the lip you had in your twenties, it s a beautiful lip. Do not let anyone damage it because many things out there that sound like a good idea are truly and permanently harmful. Please do not do that to yourself. A small lip edge treatment with hyaluronic acid filler can be very helpful. Less is more. You need an artful injector for this. You want help without looking like you are getting service. This should not represent more than 1/4 ml of Restylane. You can handle a small amount at the corner of the mouth and undoubtedly there is a place for the balance. There is never a reason for left over filler. Please do not tattoo your lip-bad idea.

The distance between your nose and upper lip appears large and the corners are somewhat down. I would recommend a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns.
I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon to perform you lip injections. Most of my patients have results that last at least 6 months.
