Hello, I got Juvederm ultra on December 11th. I had some bruising and bump. I have notice that go down. I haven’t noticed the m shape “swelling” on my top lip go down. I’m scared that it overfilled with Juvederm and I’m stuck with duck lips. Picture was taken today December 14th. Please advise): Should I ice above lip? ):

Great question. I think .5ml of Juvederm would be good to accentuate the good volume you already have. I prefer to always add less and potentially add more than add more and have to dissolve. I think .5ml would be a great way to go.

Thank you for your question. This is just a bruise. It will go away with time. I would ice, take no NSAIDS, dont drink alcohol. Finding an injector that does cannula technique instead could avoid bruising significantly. Hope this helps, Dr. Thuy Doan. ATL
