Hi there, All of my muscles have gone haywire since having Covid. I don’t even recognize my face when I look in the mirror. I’ve aged dramatically the last three years. My face looks very boxy now and my chin droops more on one side. I have been diagnosed with possible slight TMJ but I don’t think I have it. Does it look like I do, like my masseter muscles would benefit from Botox? Do I need a facelift? How can I fix the boxy look plus the assymetry? My face just looks very bottom heavy now

Please watch the following video to get a detailed answer of your question. TMJ is a joint and the jaw muscles get bigger over time in every person. Therefore - the shape of the lower jaw becomes square over time. Botox is effective in slimming this appearance.

At least from the photos provided, the use an appropriately robust volumizing HA filler would provide the necessary lift and projection to the upper cheeks to achieve a more feminine, oval, heart-shaped contouring of the face--which, of course, would diminish or eliminate the boxy, bottom-heavy lower face appearance you dislike. In experienced hands, this can be performed in about ten to fifteen minutes with immediate results. If still desired, chin asymmetry can also be easily addressed with an appropriate HA lifting filler--also with immediate results. You would be wise to make sure to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatology filler expert. Best of luck.

From your photos and description of your concerns you would benefit from a combination of Botox and fillers.  The Botox can help with the masseter muscles and jawline.  Fillers can improve volume discrepancies.  It does not appear you need to consider a facelift.  See an expert injector near you to learn more.
