Hard to determine if you have a superficial infection without at least a virtual consult with... But you could see your Primary MD for a round of PO antibiotics at least to begin with. Or call your surgeon, if you can get a hold of him/her??? Did you use a clinic setting or private practice?

I encourage you to visit with your surgeon for an evaluation. The symptoms you describe certainly could indicate an infection is present. Your surgeon will guide you with how to proceed after an examination.
