If you have never had any dermal fillers, start with reversible fillers such as Juvederm Voluma or Restylane Lyft. The most important step is to have a consultation with an expert physician and let him/her evaluate you thoroughly before the procedure.
Radiesse and Voluma could both be used to provide augmentation to the chin. Radiesse is a stiffer product than Voluma, so Radiesse can provide a bit more projection. Both products are safe if used correctly.
Radiesse and Voluma are both good alternatives for chin augmentation and jaw sculpting. I feel that Radiesse is the best option for this procedure. Radiesse is safe and very cost effective. There are currently studies that show some reversibility of Radiesse injections but that is the only minor negative of Radiesse versus any Hyaluronic Acid product injection in the chin area. If you are looking for safety, efficacy, and cost effectiveness then Radiesse is your product in that area.
Radiesse is a safe filler can can be used for chin augmentation. The chin can also be improved with these fillers (Voluma, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
I have personally been using Radiess for nearly two decades, since the early days when it was known as Radiance. It is a natural, calcium-based injectable, that in addition to being a useful volumizing filler, promotes new collagen and elastic fiber production. And it has a proven safety record of two decades to back it up. Results typically lasted about two years in the chin region. That being said, after the introduction of Voluma XC, a natural hyaluronic acid-based volumizing filler, I began switching my patients over to this for various nonsurgical augmentation problems, include nonsurgical chin augmentation. It, too, is safe and provides excellent augmentation. It likewise also promotes, to some degree, new collagen and elastic fiber production and lasts up to two years. However, Voluma XC has the additional benefit that, if necessary, it may be dissolved using the enzyme hyaluronidase--an important plus that Radiesse does not possess. Best of luck.
The best filler for a chin augmentation? Radiesse is a good filler. It is not dangerous. There are other fillers you can use besides Radiesse for chin augmentation.
Radiesse is an excellent filler that has the longest survival time. It recruits collagen in its calcium hydroxyl matrix and provides the best projection of any of the fillers. Should be used by experienced hands for the best results.
Good Afternoon and thank you for your question. In my opinion both options are great, I believe it depends on each patient's expectation. I like to customize all of my treatments to each patient's needs so it does vary per patient when deciding which filler which achieve the optimal result. Radiesse® is an excellent option to stimulate one's own collagen and works very well on large structural areas as well as injected right on the bone area. Voluma® is a great alternative if you want the reversibility factor however it does not have the added benefit of collagen stimulation. It is best to schedule a consultation with an expert injector so they may customized a treatment plan best suited for you. Best of luck to you.
in my hands Radiesse is best. It has the highest G prime and best value. It is calcium hydroxylate. I’ve used it for 15 years with excellent results. Your injector needs to be experienced as it is less forgiving than Voluma which can be reversed with enzyme.
Radiesse is an excellent choice for this procedure and best in my hands. it works by laying down calcium product that attracts your collagen but then disappears leaving only your collagen
