Lip augmentations with fillers is a great option to improve the fullness, suppleness and symmetry of the lips. Results can be very natural-looking and will feel very natural. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising.Fillers can also be used to augment the chin. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns and go over the cost of your procedure. I hope this helps.
Facial sculpting and contouring of the face can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. These fillers (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good for augmenting the lips. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Yes, filler is ideal to build up the recessed area at the top of your chin. Lip fillers will further balance your features by creating volume in that area to draw the eye upwards and give the illusion of a smaller chin. Facial sculpting with fillers allows us to emphasize certain features and de-emphasize or soften others. Best of luck to you!
Hyaluronic acid based filler will help improve lip volume and projection. I use Restylane or Restylane Silk when treating the lips. I would not recommend chin filler in your case though. I suspect that you would need surgery to improve the appearance of your chin although I will defer to the plastic surgeons on this forum to comment further.
A variety of fillers can be used to augment lip fullness and soften the transition area between the lower lip and chin. If the chin prominence is truly more bone than soft tissue, it can be permanently reduced in a procedure known as a sliding genioplasty. In this procedure, the bony prominence of the chin is moved backward and fixed in the new position. This can bring more balance to the lower face. A complete x-ray analysis of the facial bones is necessary in order to determine if this approach is appropriate.
Hello and thank you for your question. I see several things that would improve your profile. First, I would inject Botox into your chin which will lengthen the chin slightly. Second, fillers can be used in the area between your lips and chin. Third, Kybella to melt away the fat in your submentum (neck area below your chin). Lip augmentation could also add to the new look. Visit a qualified injector and discuss your profile concerns. Best of luck to you.
Your growth pattern has teeth which are 'behind' the lips and this gives a relative prominence to the chin and nose. The 'shallowness' is best dealt with in the long term with orthodontics and perhaps jaw surgery to give the best result. Fillers will not satisfy the patient long term (and likely not short term in your case). Talk to a Maxillofacial surgeon and orthodontist
It is not time to be overly concerned with final results because this swelling is expected and can temporarily distort your facial features.Bruising is more common with needle injections and that is one of the reasons that I often prefer using a cannula to place fillers. You can place concealer...

Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, facial implants (cheek, chin), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years. Following my beauty principles, men look chiseled and handsome with angularity in the cheeks, chin and mandibular angles. Conversely, wome...
