I cannot really afford to have a chin implant but would like very similar results. My face is pretty rounded and square & i’d really like much more of a ‘v’ shape chin / heart shaped face.

Answer: You have more than one option With regards to the chin, it is best to start with a small amount of filler, eg 1mL, as you can always add more if you require. Having said that, if there is excess filler injected, it can also be dissolved. For the heart-shaped face, one option is Botox to the the jaw muscles. This relaxes the jaw muscles, and over the following few weeks, it creates a slimmer jawline which can then results in a less rounded/square shape. The amount of Botox required varies, and one side may need more than the other.

Answer: Heart shaped face- achieved with BOTOX and Juvederm This is a frequent question that I get asked on a daily basis. The front part of your jawline shows that you could have strong muscles that make your jawline more angular and less curved. Botox into these muscles can help- typically 24-38 units depending on strength. Your chin? 1.5 ml of Juvederm to get the correct proportions between chin width and nostrils. Very common in Asian women - in fact this is the MOST common procedure done in this ethic group. All the best, Dr Davin S. Lim , Brisbane. Australia
