Is my pain almost 3 months after Liposuction still considered normal? (Photo)

I had Luposuction of the stomach, back and side flanks in 11/2015. I had about 7000cc's removed & I still have A LOT of discomfort and sometimes full on pain! It's mostly my lower back and side flanks, they feel very tight when moving. When I do move it feels like a burning stretching feeling! There is still some swelling but not too much.. My back also is very hot to the touch and sweats a a lot so I'm just wondering if this is still part of the healing process, or if I should be concerned?

Thank you for your question. If you opt to perform the liposuction only you won't get a good results than combining lipo with full tummy tuck with muscle repair. I would recommend you to be treated by board certified PS with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results....

During recovery from any surgery, patients may have headaches from a number of different sources, anesthesia, medications, dehydration, etc.  These usually only last a few days so at 2 weeks it may make sense to have yourself further evaluated to be sure nothing else needs addressing.

I strongly urge you against having plastic surgery procedures with a doctor who is not a board certified plastic surgeon. There is a reason surgeons have to go through so much training and become board certified in order to perform plastic surgery procedures. Going to an uncertified doctor just...

Although this is probably no problem I would certainly report to situation to your surgeon. He may want to check you for deep venous obstruction if your liposuction procedure took a long time.
