I have undergone liposuction three times in the past by three different doctors. Needless to say I have never - ever experienced such great skill. Dr Stam may be young, but he is extremely skilled at what he does. He does not traumatise the body. His results are second to none. My body not only looks amazing comparing to what it was, but the recovery (which is what I was terrified of due to past trauma), was so quick and my body started the recovery process immediately after surgery because he did really took great care of it. It's now been just a week, I am swollen and a little bit bruised but I am so happy and grateful and pain free. Thank you Dr Stam, Our relationship will be a long one as I fully trust you with my body. (As long as you don't move to LA to become a worldwide celebrity surgeon like you deserve) Stefania
I underwent a successful surgery on September 10th 2020 by Dr. Stamatis Sapountzis. Hospital nurses treated me with devotion and care that touched my heart. The food at the hospital is delicious, fresh and good. Although only 6 weeks have passed since the day of surgery, I am satisfied with the results. (The end result will be seen after half a year). The attractive price I was offered wasn't a factor which convinced me to choose this doctor. Before I chose Dr. Stamatis Sapountzis, I had contact with doctors from the Netherlands, (my country of residence), and from Greece, none of whom particularly impressed me. Already in the first email (out of 93 in total over a period of several months before and after operation!), Cynthia, Dr. Stam's personal assistant replied to me in a professional, patient manner that conveyed reliability, professionalism and personal integrityIntuitively, I knew right away I had come to the right place, but, still I did my homework well; I checked his professional background and reviews, but, got reinforcements for my intuition when I made my first video call with Dr. Stamatis Sapountzis. It's hard to explain in words, but, I knew I was in the right hands and with the right person.I am a very thorough perfectionist to the smallest detail and suspicious by nature woman, but, also one who knows how to listen and interpret my intuition correctly. Dr. Stam's positive energy radiated reliability and professionalism. I remember clearly shortly before the surgery I let him know I trust him 100% and I know I had reached a safe place. I had no fear or doubts. Not only did he do a wonderful job, but, Dr. Stamatis Sapountzis surprised me big time. He did above and beyond to make a wish come true for meThanks to him, I can walk the street today with confidence and pride. I thank Dr. Stamatis Sapountzis for his sincere concern towards me, for bothering to come to the hospital at midnight to find out why I cannot sleep? (No Dutch doctor would bother so much for his patient). I thank him for always making me feel comfortable in his presence and every question (out of many) was accepted willingly and respectfully.Being a good doctor, it is not only professionally, but also know how to meet the needs of your patients. You have what it takes to be called a great dr. I will always be grateful to Dr. Stamatis Sapountzis, for being attentive to my request and answering my needs. I thank God for sending me to you.I feel as if I was reborn on October 10th, 2020. I strengthen your hands, Dr. Stamatis Sapountzis and pray God will always be with you and yours. Wherever you turn see happiness and blessing in your professional and personal life. Amen, see you soon, coming next surgery.
From my first email inquiry, I received a personal and informative response from Dr Stam himself. As our communication progressed, and I compared his offer, procedures, costs with other doctors, I felt that Dr Stam and his staff and the hospital that he uses (St. Luke's) were superior to other options I considered. From photos of my areas of concern, Dr Stam sent an all-inclusive price for the facelift and tummy tuck, which included hospital fees and necessary garments to wear afterwards. The only other cost was for medications, which for me was 15 euros. I was not required to send money as a deposit, which was a bonus because I was very uncomfortable sending money to a doctor in a foreign country whom I had not met. At our initial meeting in his comfortable office, I felt completely at ease. His English is flawless so I knew we understood each other. He thoroughly went over the procedures, showed me how my appearance would change and we talked about what to expect the day of surgery and the days following. Dr Stam performed surgery the next morning. I was immensely pleased with the hospital and responsive staff, most of whom speak English. Dr Stam did a remarkable job of my surgery and was very present before and afterwards for reassurance. He "held my hand" the entire way, which made a potentially scary procedure far more comfortable for me. Because it is easier for me to get to the hospital rather than to his office, he agreed to followup appointments at the hospital where he changes the dressing and checks the progress of my recovery. Even though I am still very swollen, I can already tell how much better my face and neck look and my tummy is firmer than it has been since before the birth of my first child. I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend Dr Stam to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. I believe he and the hospital offered better service than if I had had this done in the US, and the cost was about 1/3 what it would have been there. Dr Stam has a great "bedside manner," and it is clear that he truly cares about the experience and outcome for his patients. I would certainly come back to him, were I to consider other cosmetic surgery in the future.
I had a terrible accident with an electric saw resulting a very large trauma in my face. Actually my left cheek, my both lips and part of my chin were divided in two parts. A friend of my family knew about Dr.Stam and we got in contact with him. Even though it was Sunday we was very happy to help me. I was shocked looking my face, thinking that will never come back. Dr. Stam really gave me hope. After the proper exams he did the operation under general anesthesia that lasted about 3 hours. Dr. Stam did the operation and I am really grateful to him. It’s about 4 weeks after the surgery and everything settle nicely. Still some redness in my scars but really i couldn't believe that he was able to restore my face. After the surgery he was always available, I met him several time for checking my wound and he never charged me for these appointments. I really want to say a big thank to him....God bless him. You are my hero !!!!
This talented young man is a well-kept secret when it comes to beauty surgery. A high level professional, very efficient with a great sense of humor! The results are fantastic and the entire procedure was, thanks to Dr. Stam, a walk in the park. He made me feel safe in every stage of my treatment. Most people probably do not know that Greece is a hotspot for cosmetic surgery and very affordable (for the money I spent, I would get in the US most probably only some botox injections).
What a fantastic surgeon!!!! Not only is Mr Sapountzis a fantastic plastic surgeon he is undoubtedly the nicest Doctor I have ever met. He made me feel so comfortable and answered every question I had. The results after only 1 month have far exceeded my expectations!!!! I would recommend Dr Stam without hesitation. I will be returning to have my breast surgery soon..... Can't wait xx
***This is a consultation review,it does not reflect the surgeon's skill in any way.I'm only posting this in hopes of saving other people with a problem similar to mine the time and effort (and money apparently) of a pointless consultation*** A little over 6 months ago I had a serious accident-a through and through laceration of my upper lip-.Due to unfortunate circumstances, primary repair was not done at the time, leaving me with a less than ideal aesthetic outcome(if you would like to see how my lip looks like, you can go in my profile and check out the abundance of photos I've posted on this site looking for help).A couple of weeks after the accident it became apparent to me that I would have to pursue some sort of corrective surgery down the road to minimize the defect and so my search of the "right surgeon" began. Months went by and by 5 to 6 months post accident I though it was only right that I should start having consultations out of town with more qualified surgeons than those of my area. That's when I stumbled upon Dr Stam's profile on Realself,a young ambitious and well trained doctor with good reviews.Upon further research I confirmed that he had excellent results in cosmetic surgery such as breast augmentation, tummy tuck etc etc so I decided to send him and e mail, presenting my case,to see if he was trained in the field of reconstructive lip surgery and if he thought that my situation could be improved. In the email I was as thorough as I could be,explaining the details of the injury and the defect,as long as the time post accident and everything. Then through the phone,I was assured that improvement could be realized, either by surgical or non surgical means. That was all I needed to hear and a few days later,a family member of mine proceeded to book a consultation, that as advertised on this site as well, was supposed to be free of charge. The family member of mine was assured that my trip would not be in vain, and that the worst case scenario would be a surgical scar revision,in an outpatient basis.I have to clarify at this point that I never really worried about having to have my lip revised, the way I see it,it is an inevitable consequence of not repairing the injury at the time it happened and I'm looking forward to the day that a surgeon will say the time is right to proceed with the repair.I knew beforehand that surgical intervention prior to 6 months is less than ideal and I would probably have to wait several more months for the scar to mature. You see,I was only hoping to establish a Doctor-patient relationship in order to be good to go for surgery when the time comes.Ultimately,I was very disappointed. The day of the consultation came and I arrived at Dr Stam's office 15 mins prior to the time of the appointment. The girl at the front desk was delightful, made me feel very comfortable. With a very small delay,Dr Stam was ready to see me.I presented the problem once again, expressed my concerns and we then proceeded to the examination, that I kid you not and without any exaggeration, lasted no longer than 20 seconds.Dr Stam palpated my lip to feel the scar tissue, told me it was softer than what he expected and that was it.My main concern was the difference in lip volume between my right and left side caused by the scar tissue, and a bump that is very noticeable from certain angles/under certain lightning. So no Kenalog injections,no surgical revision, instead he offers to perform a modified lip reduction to the area of the defect to improve symmetry a bit.I traveled all this way to have the normal tissue/scar tissue ratio improved -instead I'm offered less lip and more scar tissue- after being assured it was possible only to have my hopes crushed in a consultation that lasted no longer than 8 to 10 minutes in total. Not only the consultation was a complete let down but I also ended up paying for it for some reason which is not a big deal really,it just adds to the feeling of being "cheated" in a sense. The free consultation is advertised on realself and through the doctor's front desk secretary .I had driven for 5 hours to Dr Stam's office and had to spend the night at a hotel so I could drive back in the morning, only to be treated as a trivial case (probably due to the fact that scar revision doesn't pay as much as breast augmentation). At the end of the day,I want to say that I do not feel that Dr Stam is a bad plastic surgeon by any means.I've seen his work and if I was not impressed I would not have made all this effort to see him.Maybe I caught him at a bad day,who knows. My honest advice is,if you're dealing with a lip defect, not just a superficial scar, you're better off consulting with a Plastic Surgeon who specializes in Cleft lip repair right away cause that is what you'll end up doing eventually anyway. ***This was an attempt to present my experience as objectively as I could, and once more an attempt to help people who are in the same boat as me find the appropriate care they need.Even though I was reluctant to post this at first, after a few more consultations with plastic surgeons who do cleft lip surgery,I now feel compelled to share my story.***
Based on your pictures i would suggest you have a tummy tuck along with muscle tightening...Best of luck.
Swelling 3 weeks after blepharoplasty seems to be not directly related to the surgery. Maybe an infection or allergic reaction. It s better to consult your surgeon for further evaluation. Btw the result looks very good
The best option is lipoabdominoplasty with muscle tightening. It will give you the best result. !!!!!
Lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning will give you the best results compared to any other method....Best of luck!
In such a case the risk of hernia sack penetration with the liposuction cannula is high. The hernia should be repaired before the liposuction. Best of luck!
