I had liposuction three weeks ago on the flanks, bra roll and three area abdominal, three days after the procedure I noticed my ankle was swollen and sore now the other ankle is sore is this normal?

Answer: Swelling After Liposuction Swelling and soreness is commonly experienced after a liposuction procedure and it is expected. The majority of your swelling will subside within 6 weeks post op, but there will still be residual swelling during the healing process for about 9 months.
