I will be 4 months post op next week. I am always uncomfortable. It's not pain but discomfort. When I sit I am reminded of my surgery and when I walk it's still tight and pulls. I have not had one comfortable day since surgery and can't sleep without a sleep aide. Discomfort to lay down. I had 1 massage about 6 weeks ago. Few hours of relief. Will try again if it might help, but they are costly. Will I be wasting my time and funds? Not comfortable taking to PS, he minimizes my concerns.

This depends a lot on the surgeon and the patient. If the patient is recovering well and has minimum pain, i start the massages 5-7 days after surgery and recommend 10-15 sessions ( 1 session daily). You will have an easier and less painful recovery this way.
Best of luck!
