Why don't some plastic surgeons don't recommend drainage massages and lymphatic massages?

I recommend my patients have massages daily right after
surgery, but each surgeon has a different protocol.

Thank you for your question. It is not always necessary to drain with a needle , only when you are having accumulations of liquid in 1 specific place under the skin (seroma). The lymphatic massages can normally handle the transport and removal of the liquid very well. Best of luck
