Keloids are tricky. Im not sure how old you are but the younger one is, the higher are the chances for recurrences. best is to get in touch with your local doctor (dermatological surgeon, Mohs Surgeon, cosmetic surgeon) and discuss your longterm options. as these keloids will not go away in 1 treatment. they might recur and you need to be some sort of topical cream or a series of injections on a regular basis to ensure they do not recur over a long period of time
Recurrent keloids of the ear can be a challenging issue. There are numerous modalities that may need to be applied in addition to excision to prevent them from coming back. I have had patients that required multiple rounds of radiation or other agents such as 5-FU injections to prevent recurrence. You should see a surgeon who has extensive experience in the treatment of difficult keloids. It may require multiple rounds of treatment to completely fix the issue. Hope this helps.
