It depends on where you want your tattoo and how your recovery is. If you aren’t getting the tattoo on your ear or in the immediate area, and you don’t get an infection, then this won’t affect your surgery. However, it’s always best to ask your operating surgeon.

You should pose that question to your surgeon. Nobody on this forum knows what specific ear surgery you had (there are many) and where you would like to have your tattoo? It is always best to ask your surgeon what restrictions you have from the operation. Good luck!
So don't have your ear sin tattooed as that may change as the tissues relax after the surgery. Otherwise I can't see it making any difference, unless of course you are lying on your ear for several hours while the tattoo is done. hope that helps. Adam Goodwin
