I’m afraid of scars. I scar easily. I had surgery on my wrist this year and I hate the scar. I researched the doughnut lift and was impressed. I’m a 36 C and would like to become a 34 D. I’m looking for a surgery with local anesthesia to cut down costs. I heard local anesthesia isn’t that bad for certain procedures. Thanks for all feedback :)
Answer: Breast lift Hi:Based on your photo, I think it would be unlikely that you would get enough lift from a donut (Benelli) lift or from a crescent lift. The donut lift can really only lift the nipple-areolar area about 1 to 1.5 inches, at best.

Answer: Breasts No, the doughnut lift will not able a good option for you because of the sagging. Plus, the implant should be placed behind the muscle for better support and upper breast fullness. This is too painful to do under local anesthesia.

Answer: The Bellesoma Lift instead of crescent or donut You are a poor candidate for a crescent or donut lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices and half are removed by 9.5 years. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Am I a good candidate for crescent or doughnut breast augmentation? Based on your photos- I do not believe you are a candidate neither for a crescent nor donut lift. It will require a full mastopexy to reshape and elevate your breasts, make them perky, as well as possible smaller implants. This is a big operation that should be performed under General Anesthesia. Trying to cut costs when it comes to a big surgery like this - is not a good idea.

Answer: Donut lift candidate? Hello and thanks for your questions and for posting multiple photos. After reviewing your photos, unfortunately you are not a good candidate for a donut-type lift due to the amount of sag/ptosis that you have. I certainly understand your concern for the possibility of poor scarring with your prior experience. There are many strategies that can be employed that can minimize the chance of poor scarring and therapies that can treat poorer scarring if it does occur. You will not get a good/aesthetically pleasing result with only a donut lift. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area that has experience with breast lifts/augmentations and photos of results that you like.Best wishes!Daniel Brown, MD, FACSBoard Certified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic SurgeonsMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeonsCastle Connolly Top DocReal Self Top 500
